Southlake - We just celebrated Christ’s birth as Emmanuel, which means “God with us” but past the celebration, the singing, and presents what does that really mean? Are you learning to be with Him, to become like Him, to do the things that He did? Do you come weekly to church and do all the stuff but not seeing true change in your life? Do New Year resolutions need to become re-creation within you? Are you spiritually and emotionally maturing? Are you waiting for God to join your story when He is inviting you to join His?
The habits that you cultivate intentionally or unintentionally are probably the most powerful influencing thing shaping our lives, Psychologists say that 40-45 % of our lives are run by habits therefore, nearly half your life is on autopilot. But you do get to choose the practices that are programed into your life. Let’s allow His word, His practices and His ways to awake us to a new narrative, the only story that truly resonates in our soul to take resolutions in this new year and make them re-creation…it is everything that you are created for!
